Card Functionality

Where can I use the World Traveler Card from?

The MCI World Traveler Phone Card can be used from over 130 countries, all using toll-free access numbers. This card also works from all AA, AE, and AP locations using the U.S. toll-free access number.

Will this card really work from Iraq?

Yes. The rate to call from Iraq back to the U.S. is 56¢/min, off base. On base the rate is the same as the current U.S. domestic rate of 6.1¢/min.

Does the World Traveler Card work from cellular phones?

No.

Can I call a toll-free number using the World Traveler Card?

The World Traveler Card cannot be used to call 700, 900, or 976 numbers, operator assisted, third party billed or collect calls. It will also not work calling to certain toll-free numbers. To see if the World Traveler Card calls to your number, please contact MCI's Customer Service at 1-800-470-5161.
